Subject: Week 9- Renamed MIKES A BITCH and I HATE MY LIFE

so the end of the week that would never fucking end comes down to two field
goals....

First the Niners barely escape from the Cardinals (Marc)... A first half
see-sawed back and forth but ended up tied at the half.  Neither team seemed
particularly committed to defense, tho Owens once again seemed to spend more
time floating in the air catching passes than with his feet on actual terra
firma.  The second half started off in a similar way, tho both teams'
defenses seemed to be revitalized by whatever half-time locker-room
ass-kicking went on.  In the end, the Cardinals receive the ball with under
a minute to play, and with the crowd screaming in their ears were able to
make it down to the 33 yard line with 38 seconds on the clock, but no TO.
In a questionable Coaching decision, instead of going for a short play,
spiking, and kicking the tying field goal, the Cards go Deep - 4 and Out and
their offense leaves the field crying, trying to clamber over the garbage
the fans tossed down in front of them.  The real question tho, is which
smelt worse, the last-series play-calling or the crap they had to climb over
to leave.

In the second close game, the raiders barely escaped from the chiefs (etan).
It started badly with the Raiders running the opening kick-off for a TD...
definitely earning their 99 rating.  The Chiefs answered back though through
a concerted effort- or rather- through the Priest's effort- to tie it up
7-7. From there, it was back and forth throughout.  Gannon, injured midway
through the 3rd, was actually playing worse than the second-stringer who
came in to replace him.  The two special-teams TD's (yes, there was another
one) were answered by the Chief's defense, with 3 passes picked off to end
crucial drives.  In the end though, it came down to the final 4 seconds, as
Janikowksi placed the ball through the uprights to earn the win for his
team.

here, I gotta give props to Mike "I bitch like a little girl" Tritt and
Danny "Has anyone seen my ring?" Fein for crushing their opponents so
embarrasingly that they won their respective conference honors offense AND
defense! Tho Danny "The Schedule Guru" Fein did end up edging Mike "I HATE
ETAN LETS BEAT UP ON HIS TEAM CUZ I AM AN ASSHOLE AND A LITTLE BITCH AND
PLAY LIKE A LITTLE GIRL AND I LIKE STABBING FRIENDS IN THE BACK TO DIM THEIR
PLAYOFF HOPES" Tritt (sometimes known as Mike "WR" Tritt) for league honors.

Griese is still the man- winning it back to back and for the 3rd time this
season with 2 8 TD and one 9 TD games.
